Are all the technocrats evil ideologues?

Truth Over Tyranny.2: Biblical wisdom for defeating the Technocrats.

These are my insights for defeating the Transhumanist Technocracy movement, based on the teachings of Rabbi Joseph B. Soloveitchik (the Rav,) of blessed memory, on the weekly Bible portion.

Many people today decry all the evil taking place across the world. We have no better word to describe the death and destruction the technocrats are causing. Some of the more horrific examples include:

… the persecution of “enemies of the state.”

… the manufacture of fake crisis and catastrophes to instill fear and compliance with government edits.

… the proliferation of pharmaceuticals that are designed to cause sickness and death.

… the instigation of endless war.

… the devastation of entire communities — and countries — to plunder their natural resources.

These and other atrocities are planned by the global elites, and carried out by layers of technocracy in governments, non-government agencies, and private corporate “partners.” They break every law, moral code, and ethical principle as they tear apart human society to “build back better” — in other words, create their own dystopia.

Our question is simply this: is redemption possible for these people? When they are all brought to justice, should we give any consideration to the possibility that at least some could atone for their ways? And if so, how would we make that determination?

Is it even possible for an entire society to be irredeemable?

The question is important because the perpetrators appear to have different rationales for their evil deeds. Some are true believers in the causes of “depopulation,” “one world order,” and the “great reset.” But others claim they are “only following orders” or “just doing their job.” Then we have collaborators who are “simply trying to feed their family” or “keep their job” or “not lose their license or pension.”

In his commentary on Parashat Vayeira, the Rav gives us something to think about on this topic. He focuses on the famous story of the destruction of Sodom and Gomorrah. Many Biblical commentators have discussed the sins of the inhabitants of these cities; they range from cruelty towards strangers, to sexual depravity. What is significant to our topic is that God chose to destroy the places entirely. Aside from Lot and his two daughters (who had a special destiny regarding the Messiah and future of humanity,) every person was killed.

Why? What made all of them so bad, that they each deserved a death sentence?

Here is the Torah’s description of how God carried out that punishment:

“And the Lord caused to rain down upon Sodom and Gomorrah brimstone and fire, from the Lord, from heaven. And He turned over these cities and the entire plain, and all the inhabitants of the cities, and the vegetation on the ground.” Bereshit 19.24, 25.

This is the Rav’s commentary on those verses:

“The road to teshuva (repentance and atonement) is open to many sinners, with God waiting patiently for them to repent. In other cases, however, sinners can become the very incarnation of evil, and the only recourse is for such sinners to be utterly destroyed. ..This tension between the rehabilitation and the destruction of evil is found in our liturgy. In Shemoneh Esrei (a central Jewish prayer,) we pray for God to accept repentance, but also to destroy evildoers. When sin becomes an integral part of an individual’s ideology, there is no alternative: he must be destroyed.” Chumash HaRav, Vol Bereshit, pp. 132, 133.

So all the residents of Sodom and Gomorrah were ideologically committed to evil, and therefore had to be eliminated. There was no alternative.

The question for us is then: are all the technocrats really hard-core ideologues?

We will see.

I would add this:

Clearly, this is an assessment only God can make. Only He knows the heart and mind of a society, just as only He truly knows the heart and mind of an individual. If we look only briefly at history, we can see that He has destroyed evil societies many times since He destroyed Sodom and Gomorrah. These include the Greek and Roman empires of antiquity, and the Soviet and Nazi regimes of modern times.

Are the transhumanist technocrats as bad? I think an argument can be made that they are worse. The evil they are committing has a range and depth and scope that I am not sure the world has ever seen.

We will see how much more patience God has with them.
