Now, suicide among veterans is painfully high. This is no secret—after all, they go through immense trauma and face serious mental health struggles, which are widely acknowledged but not addressed nearly enough. But for some reason, many on the left refuse to face another harsh truth: mental illness is permeating the trans movement. The crisis runs so deep that suicide rates among trans individuals are staggering.

A 2023 study from The Journal of AMA revealed that suicide risk is a whopping eight times higher for trans people. The study also found that trans individuals are up to five times more likely to die by suicide than the rest of the population.

Clearly, Mr. Shupe was suffering from severe mental illness. And what’s truly disturbing is how the so-called “medical professionals” validated his delusions, indulged his ever-changing “gender identities,” and rearranged his body parts for profit instead of giving him the real mental health care he desperately needed.
