II.  Qualifying Training Swims for Non-SEALsTotal registered swimmers is 268.  Total confirmed swimmers of 146.I will have more than 122  hundred swimmers who will be taking Qualifying Training Swims in Long Branch, NJ.

XI. .Operation Reel Heroes – Long Island Event June 14 -15

Operation Reel Heroes brings together local boaters/fisherman and our nation’s heroes for a weekend of fishing, fun, and friendship. Since inception in 2015, Operation Reel Heroes has taken 800+ Veterans & Guests fishing.

Working closely with the Wounded Warrior Project, we host two events annually. Our Cape Cod Event takes place out of Bass River in Yarmouth, Massachusetts and our Long Island event takes place out of Huntington Harbor in Huntington, New York. 

XII.  Captain of Volunteers:Dr. Edward Beja is the Captain of Volunteers.  Thank you Dr. Edward Beja for stepping up to be one of the leaders in this year’s NYC SEAL Swim.  All Volunteers should register on the NSF NYC SEAL Swim webpage send an email to Dr. Edward Beja as soon as possible so he can start making his Volunteer Teams.Volunteer Walk Throughs (Dirt Dive)

Will Cain from Fox News will be having a Team of Swimmers with us in the water! (Thank you Will Cain, Pete Hegseth and the Entire Team at Fox News for helping us send a patriotic message of unity!)

XV.  Swim Day – Estimated Timeline (Susceptible to change as dependent on tides and currents).

7:30 – Swimmers meet in front of the hotel and are transported via buses with NJSP escort to Empty Sky Memorial in Liberty State Park.

8:00 – Swimmers check-in at Empty Sky Memorial in Liberty State Park. Get physical and electronic head counts.

8:30 – Swimmers run (BUD/s shuffle) from Empty Sky Memorial to Flag Plaza in Liberty State Park. Swimmers hand in American flags and change out from sneakers to fins. Get physical and electronic head counts and swimmer inspections at Flag Plaza.

9:30 – Swimmers enter the water and swim to the Statue of Liberty. 

10:00 – Swimmers do honor pushups and pull-ups (to honor our nation’s freedoms and civil liberties) at the Liberty Barge. Get physical and electronic head count.

10:30 – Swimmers enter the water to swim to Ellis Island.

11:00 – Swimmers do honor pushups and pull-ups (to honor our nation’s diversity and all those who came to our nation seeking a better life) at Ellis Island Barge. Get physical and electronic head count.

11:30 – Swimmers enter the water to swim to South Cove, NY, in Battery Park.

12:30 – Swimmers begin to arrive at South Cove Marina. Get physical and electronic head count. Swimmers go through the decon station and change out to sneakers. Swimmers get American flags.

1:00 – Swimmers run with American Flags to the World Trade Center’s Horse Soldier Statue.

1:30 – Swimmers do honor pushups and pull-ups (to honor all those lost on 9/11 and all those who put it on the line for our nation) at the First Responders Statue at WTC.

1:30 -2:00 – Moment of remembrance with American Flags at reflection ponds.

2:00 – 2:30 – Swimmers hand in American Flags and use shower trailers.

2:30 – 4:00 – Swimmers attend the after party.
